I am a recent graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design with a BFA in photography. I enjoy all photography including landscape and still life, however, portraiture is my focus and passion. To capture and preserve an image is essential to the human desire to leave a lasting imprint upon the world. That intensely human desire – to capture the true essence of a person through their image – is what drew me to photography, specifically portraiture. I enjoy photographing real human beings with real bodies and genuine facial expressions. There is beauty in everyone and I believe it is a disservice for photographers to shoot only one type of person -- there are billions of people on the planet! Diversity is a wonderful thing and I fully embrace it both as a person and as a photographer.
I am available for all of your portrait needs, from seniors to children, weddings, and everything in between. I specialize in photographing on location, and believe that when a client is in his or her own environment, they are more comfortable and relaxed. Whether you are interested in having your portrait taken in your own home, a local park, or even if you would like me to scout a location for you, each session is completely personalized to fit your needs and taste.
